Miniature female rapper Lil Mama made a appearance on TRL and looked like a nigh light. This is supposedly Lil Mama’s new look or gimmick for her new album. I am not really feeling it but it may grow on me.

Spotted yesterday in St. Peter, Barbados was Kansas City Chiefs player Larry Johnson with Julissa Bermudez, former BET 106 and Park host. I never really cared for this girl. I have never held a personal grudge against her but for some reason I want to use a eraser and rub out her face from this picture!

Alicia Keys made a appearance at The Late Show with David Letterman in a grey number and she looked absolutely wonderful. Thank God that ugly orange substance wore off. She looked quite unpleasant because of it.

Today after a long days work on my college campus I came home to watch television with my mother and low and behold I witness a news team doing a feature on car repossession. Now this didn’t really grab my interest until they mentioned a famous female rapper in NYC had her Bentley repossessed recently. From this point on I was glued to the TV. I would not allow anyone to change the channel to watch Law & Order, ESPN, or any other show on. I needed to know; no I wanted to know who this female was. I had a feeling in my gut but did not want to jump to conclusions.

As the repo man made his way towards the mansion in NYC/New Jersey (not sure of location could be either one) he had to speak into an intercom to converse with the rapper. I could not hear this conversation but I sure as heck heard the one between the television station’s camera man and the mystery woman. A tiny voice came through the intercom with a lazy Brooklyn drawl and I knew it wasn’t Foxy because she is kind of rough around the edges plus she couldn’t afford a Bentley anyways, and apparently neither could the owner of the car. It was none other then the Queen Bee herself.

My mouth dropped and before the saliva could hit my t-shirt my mother snapped me back to reality. The Queen Bee, Grammy winning female rapper. The most famous rapper in the world has just gotten her car reposed because of back payment. The news reporter did not release her name but no one could deny it was her.

Damn! Times must be rough. But I bet it’s all just a mix up right QB? (wink wink)

Wednesday night was a star studded affair in NYC. Terrence J, the corny host of BET’s 106 and Park held himself a birthday bash at secret location (Prime). The theme was “Coming to America” and Terrence was Prince Hakeem. Many in attendance included Rosci, his co-host, ANTM’s Jaslene and Nik, LL Cool J, Ryan Leslie, Joe Budden, Angel Lola, Cassidy, Diddy, Lil Mama, and many more. Although I was unable to attend due to prior arrangements I did have an insider who gave me some info on the people and incidents there. Luigi mentioned that during his entrance, Terrence recreated the “Coming to America” entrance with the drums and dancing. A little fight did break out but all ended well. Diddy made an appearance but could not enter the VIP section because it was too crowded. But was it wise not to make room for Diddy? Terrence needs to send out a kiss ass card ASAP. Anyhoo Lil Mama was dancing with the 80’s baby and trying to look like she had some form of sex appeal but was extremely lacking in that department. Wish I was there just to see the entrance but oh well, maybe next time.

I awoke this morning with a severe hangover and one mission on my mind: to determine the verdict read today at the Sean Bell trial in Queens, New York.

The defendants are not guilty of all charges…The burden was on the people to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Each defendant was assumed to be innocent… The people have not proved beyond a reasonable doubt that each defendant was not justified” Queens Supreme Court Justice Judge Arthur Cooperman’s verdict reading.   

Once these words were uttered Nicole Paultre-Bell, his fiancée, ran from the court room in tears as family and friends sat stunned by the Judges verdict.

However in my opinion the verdict could not have been more predicted. Three NYPD officers were found not guilty after unleashing 50 shots on a group of three men outside of a strip club in Jamaica, Queens.

Bell 23-years old was killed on November 25, 2006 outside a strip club (Kalua Cabaret) on the day he was suppose to marry the mother of his two daughters. His friends, Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield were severely wounded. According to the detectives testimony they believed someone in Bell’s car was reaching for a gun when Bell drunkenly drove his car into the detectives.

Michael Oliver 36, Gescard Isnora, 29 and Marc Cooper, 40, were undercover detective’s part of a unit doing a sting on prostitution at the strip club attended by Bell and his friends. Oliver who fired 31 times was charged along with Isnora of manslaughter while Cooper who only fired 4 shots was charged with reckless endangerment.

Justice Cooperman claims that these men testimonies seemed more credible then those of the victims. Could it be because these detectives were trained to sway criminals or victims in the training they were given? What made them seem so much more credible then the men who had scars riddling their body.

I guess that wasn’t enough. But what boggles my mind is that just yesterday actor Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for tax evasion.

This verdict brought back memories of Amadou Diallo, a African immigrant who was shot 41 times outside his home after officers mistook his wallet for a gun. The officers in that case were acquitted (shocking right).

Where do the citizens of New York go from here? How should I feel walking the streets in Brooklyn and I have a bugle in my jacket? Will I be accosted? Will I be shot at 31 times in which a officer took time to reload once to finish me off? Where do Nicole and her daughters go for peace? Should they continue to live in NYC and face the stares and menacing glances aimed at her by a barrage of trigger happy cops with too much damn testosterone in their bulging bodies?

Please let me know what I should do when I hear someone plotting to shoot a cop after this verdict or do some form of bodily harm. I have been hearing chanting 50 shots, 50 cops down. I personally will not go and try to harm a officer of the law (this saying is a joke) but I don’t doubt that some angry young men and women wont try to.

I cannot wait to see the carnage today on the streets. I try hard not to be a hateful individual however sometimes the devil wins out and that’s all you want to feel and there is only so much you can do to release it.

I have message to police officers and whoever believes just because they have authority their body is immortal. Bullets fly straight and they no absolutely no skin color, age or background. Keep this in mind!

On Tuesday night Spot Light Live hosted R&B Live which featured performances by Ashanti, Lloyd, and Ryan Leslie. Although I cannot really depict the performances due to the fact I did not make an appearance due to personal matters, Ashanti looks as if she is trying to convince the industry heads there that she is still a money making commodity.

As some may know Star Saggy Jones and her flaming boy toy husband Al Reynolds have decided to go their separate ways and filed for divorce a few days ago.

Jones released this statement:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce.“The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

Although she is no favorite of mine I do feel some compassion for this woman who risked her health to lose weight in order to fit into the standards of skinny Hollywood.

However now it seems that a marriage which we all hoped would end on mutual terms is up for an uphill battle.

According to TMZ.com Ms Reynolds has hired Standford Lotwin as his attorney and he will be claiming that Jones forced him to quite his lucrative job as a stock broker to be her butt boy for the past few years. He will then demand a settlement so he can live according to the life he has become accustomed to. However he is not as broke as he would like many to believe. Reynolds is a professor at Florida Memorial University.
