It has come to my attention that Usher has lost he ever loving mind! Yesterday the crooner made an appearance on TRL when he went on a tangent against those, like me, speaking ill about his wildebeest wife.

I must be mistaken but shouldn’t Usher be used to people making unwelcome comments against himself and his wife? His Bitcha**ness is getting old now and he needs to grow thicker skin or retire or Alaska or somewhere no man actually wishes to venture.

With that said…his wife still looks like a caged animal with the disposition of a :-0

It’s a sad day in hip hop. Rapper Xzibit’s premature son Xavier died from complications after birth. Xzibit expressed his grief through his myspace blog.

 ·         ITS 4:32AM AND I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS……..

AS you all know, I shared with you the announcement of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on may 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurely. well this week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unnatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when I’m having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, don’t take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and I’m not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.

Today my little brother is flying out to Miami for Memorial Day Weekend leaving me home alone to fend for myself! ARRHH it’s not FAIR!!!  Anyways I have come up with the ultimate Memorial Day weekend must haves for men.

1.      $1000 at least plus a additional $500 hidden in your sock just in case!

2.      A banging ass car rental if you are not driving there. A Range Rover would be a good option since a lot of groupies will be hopping in and out of your car!

3.      CONDOMS! There will be a lot of sex going on in Miami this year so please be prepared. Let’s not forget that the HIV epidemic is still raging on. Along with that there is Chlamydia, herpes, syphilis, and many other Sexually transmitted diseases.

4.      A pair of Louis Vutton, Gucci, Christian Dior, or Versace shades to shade your eyes from the suns mean and wrinkly causing rays.

5.      Deodorant! We females hate stinky men so please use soap, rag, and some body armor!

6.      White uptowns. They are classic and will never go out of style.

7.      Stud earrings. Men with diamonds in their ear are the shit. And they should be real fellas. Most women can spot the fake so don’t even try it!

8.      White T’s. White t-shirts can be worn with anything so if by some chance you run out of outfits, a white v-neck t-shirt will be the solution to your problem.

9.      Breath mints. All the alcohol and cannabis that will be inhibited along with food will cause havoc on your breath. Please brush after meals and use Orbit. I love that gum!

10.  Someone you know that has already lived or been to Florida. You do not want to get lost so have your tour guide ready as soon as you hit the Sunny State!

I hope these guidelines help men in their weekend journey. And I really hope women are not expecting their men to be faithful. If that’s the case you might as well go with him because you will definitely need to be there to keep his zippers closed!!

Although I have been missing from the blogging scene for a while I have been paying very close attention to the R.Kelly trial. It’s been SIX YEARS since Robert Kelly has been charged with having sexual intercourse with a 13 year old girl after a sex tape featuring the two was sold around the country. The tape it appears was made in 1998-99. Kelly has vehemently denied that the man on the tape is him along with the accused victim, who by chance is former singer Sparkles niece.

The trial has begun and so far four people have taken the stand to identify Kelly and the young girl. The girl, who is now twenty-three years old, former bestfriend, identified her as and Kelly. However the most controversial witness is Sparkle, who claims that Kelly paid her niece like a prostitute before engaging in sexual acts with the child in his home.

 According to the Chicago Tribune:

  ·         The loud bickering began when Genson asked if someone could have doctored the illicit video to make it appear as if Kelly were paying a young girl to perform various sex acts. Edwards, who wore cosmetic glitter under her left eye to provide her trademark “sparkle,” gave a snide smile.“I know my family,” she said. “I know them. Trust me.”“And so you know and believe your [relative] took money from Robert Kelly and then had sex with him, which is on that tape?” Genson asked. “That’s what you know?”“Just like he made her do,” Edwards said, struggling to maintain her composure. “You see she’s a robot on that tape.”Genson then tried to make Edwards acknowledge she didn’t know who made the tape.“Robert made the tape,” she answered, her voice growing louder. “You can clearly see him setting it up, passing my [relative] some money, like she is a prostitute.”

Genson suggested Edwards hoped to profit from the tape because she spoke with a lawyer about it before talking to the police.“Sweetie, I am not trying to get money from anybody,” Edwards said.“I’m not your sweetie,” Genson snapped.Cook County Circuit Judge Vincent Gaughan halted the testimony and ordered the two to calm down. Stunned jurors stole sideways glances with each other as a few tried to stifle laughter.Kelly, who rarely looked at Edwards during her testimony, stared straight ahead with no expression on his face.

I have been a R.Kelly fan for years and a tiny part of me hopes that this was all orchestrated to take down the most talented African American songwriter and singer in the business but it doesn’t seem this way. There is some damning evidence and unless Kelly can prove he is a innocent man being prosecuted for another’s acts then he will be seeing the big house. By the way it doesn’t help much that he married singer Aaliyah when she was just 15 and is now accused of sexually molesting his niece!!

YES!!!!! Finals are over and I am ecstatic!! No more surprise quizzes, 10-15 page papers, 100 question exams or any other trivial examinations of my intelligence. I am FREE!!!

Since I have been away there has been a lot of drama in which I missed.

1. The beginning of the R.Kelly child molestation trail. FINALLY!!!!!!
2. Mariah Carey and her latest puppet husband Nick Cannon have gotten tattoos to display their love. It seems they are going hard to have people believe their “in love.”
3. Ray-J proposing to Whitney Houston. What for? No clue! Well maybe the money and unlimited supply of cannabis.
4. Jay-Z and Beyonce confirming their marriage. Like we already didn’t know.
5. Michelle Williams’s new video for “We Break the Dawn.” Not really feeling it.
6. Rocsi calling 50’s album garbage and his response by calling her a hoe! The drama!!!!!
7. Kim Kardasian getting liposuction for in her ass. What is this world coming to?
8. Kobe Bryant cheating on his wife Vanessa with a L.A. Lakers cheerleader name Vanessa!!! I mean he could have found someone in another state now!
9. Rihanna and Chris Brown’s make out session in KFC.
10. Queen Pen getting her ass beat by her no good boyfriend!!!

There sums up the celebrity news I have been considering in my brief leave of absence. Today’s a new day however. New drama, new music…celebrities have been busy since I’ve been away.

MTV Jamz has found two new hosts for their future segment. Singer and songwriters Keri Hilson and Sean Garret taped the show together.

As always Keri looked wonderful. I love her style and her lyrical genius. She is one of the few women I can say have my respect in the industry. She is not overtly selling her self but building her career through a foundation of hits and appearances.

Last night at Radio City Music Hall it was Divas galore! The benefit “Divas with a heart,” took place and it featured performances by Patti La Belle, Diana Ross, Chaka Khan and Gladys Knight performed. Valerie Bell, shooting victim Sean Bell’s mother, made a appearance and were honored by the women.

I appreciate al of these women talents however there is no suck thing as a diva unless my girl Aretha Franklin is in the equation.

For the first time in his NBA career basketball power house Kobe Bryant received his FIRST MVP award this past week from the L.A. Lakers. This is crazy considering that Kobe should have had at least seven by now. “Hateration” is never the answer people. We all must give another individual their “props” for the success they have accomplished!!
