Nas Reveals Details of New Album
The homie Nas has ruffled a few feathers with the details surrounding his next album titled “Nigger”. He recently pushed his album release date back to February in honor of Black History Month and revealed that there would be a song titled “The Fear (of the Black Man’s D*ck)” on the album. *insert mouth drop here*. As much controversy as he is stirring up over this album, I am hoping that it will have some profound message behind it. I’m really trying to ride this one out with him ….
Update on the Murder of Sean Taylor
Today a Miami Dade Police Department informed a news outlet that Sean Taylor’s brother and sister may have played a part in the murder of the Redskin’s player. Apparently the two assisted the set up of the burglary by bragging about Sean’s wealth to their friends. Sean was shot in his home Monday morning and died a day later from his injuries. His girlfriend Jackie (daughter of actor Andy Garcia) and his 18 month old daughter was also at home at the time of shooting.
The police have arrested four suspects for questioning, including two teenagers. Atleast one of the guys in question had been to Sean’s house in the past for a party.
Now in the past 6 months or so, numerous pro athletes have been robbed in their own homes. Unfortunately this one ended in a fatality. I think the lesson behind this is, we gotta be more careful about who we let in our cribs.
Lil Bobby Brown -Puff Puff Give
Pictures of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s little 14 year old daughter smoking what looks to be weed made it’s internet rounds this week. I have faith in lil Bobbi Kristina so I’m gonna try to put a stop to this rumor now. That looks to be a hookah so I’m gonna guess she was smoking some herbal fruits or something of that nature… (hey that’s a good guess).
Just a year ago, Bobbi Kristina’s myspace page under the name $$exxi Krissy and url nympho_baby made it’s debut on the internet. I don’t know about you but when I was 13 I had no idea what a nympho was. Shame!
Melinda Williams Bounces Back
Melinda Williams was spotted this week at the Essence Magazine December Cover Party flossin’ her engagement ring. Her and one of my favorite DJ’s D-Nice announced their engagement a few weeks ago. I am truly happy for Melinda, especially after she went through that messy divorce with actor Mekhi Phifer. Remember she blasted him in an issue of Honey Magazine and he came back with his own personal attack

Mekhi has since moved on and remarried (yes, he left the sistas alone) and it’s good to see Melinda was able to find someone who appreciates her “flaws and all”.
Marques Houston Getting Leftovers?
I’m about to give half my readers a *yawn* moment because most of the females I know don’t give a damn about Marques Houston. (poor Roger!) He showed up at the premiere of his straight-to-BET-late-night movie “Somebody Help Me” with My Wife and Kids star Jennifer Freeman and they are reportedly engaged. Now, I may be tripping but wasn’t this the same girl who was dating Omarion back in the day. Ok Ok, I guess puppy love doesn’t break the friends rule..

Other Tibits: Mannie Fresh sister was shot and killed Wednesday night at home in front of her two children. Police are still investigating but there were no signs of forced entry. Fabulous lost a friend to a senseless shooting at Duvet nightclub in New York last Friday. Birdman and what was rumored to be his 18 year old wife was arrested for marijuana possession Tuesday night. In an interview with MTV, Birdman denies that the girl arrested was his wife. Ironically, the arrest comes right before the December 11th release of his album. Ghostface stirred up some beef of his own recently in an interview with Play when he stated “Tony Yayo can suck a fat d*ck.” *whoa…um ..ok* Read full interview here. And while we are speaking of “Thing they do for publicity” music producer J.R. Rotem texted a radio station that he is the father of Britney Spear’s third child (that’s of course if she is indeed pregnant). Really, are men still dipping in Britney?? Chris Brown In Love With His Manager?
A wild rumor has been going around about Chris Brown this week. The singer allegedly has been involved in an affair with his manager Tina Davis and the news has supposedly rocked his whole camp.You know Mama Brown isn’t happy if this is true. I received the news via text from an industry insider a few weeks ago and just this week Sandra Rose reported it on her site.
Back in August, Chris Brown told Giant magazine that Gabrielle Union wanted a piece of the kid. Maybe he has a thing for older woman….
And In case you were wondering, the picture he held up at the end of the “This Christmas” movie is not Tina Davis or his girlfriend. It was co-star Lauren London’s high school graduation picture. Moving on…
Queen Latifah Engaged?
Queen Latifah is said to be engaged to her long time personal trainer and alleged girlfriend Jeanette Jenkins. Now although there has been speculations that Jeanette is Queen’s wifey, including a few slip ups on the red carpet from Jeanette when asked about her relationship with Queen, the two have never verified that they were together publicly. In September, Queen Latifah surprised Jeanette with a Range Rover tied in a bow delivered to the restaurant Phillipe in Manhattan. Queen has also publicly acknowledged that she would like to follow in Angeline Jolie’s footsteps and adopt a baby.
According to the site Media Take Out, Queen Latifah and Jeanette plan to make their relationship public after the release of the movie “Perfect Holiday” which Queen is currently promoting. I normally don’t believe a thing MTO reports (remember, they reported Mary J Blige was pregnant) but for some reason I don’t doubt the validity of this one. I guess we will have to wait and see
Lauren London and Lil Wayne Engaged?
This rumor may hurt most of the men I know..and I hate to even waste my time typing it up but here it goes. Lil Wayne and Lauren London may be engaged. Yes, Lauren London aka New New from the movie ATL, HBO’s Entourage and most recently “This Christmas”. The two were seen kickin it courtside on Thanksgiving Eve at a New Orleans Hornet’s game. Now if you ask, what the hell does she see in him? You have to ask the same question of Karrine “Superhead” Steffans, Nivea, Farrah, Solange, Trina (shall I go on). Wayne must definitely have his swag game on lock because the females is flocking to Weezy F. Baby..

The Real Reason R.Kelly’s Publicist Resigned
The Pied Piper is brewing in controversy again. And no I’m not talking about him dropping Ne-Yo from his tour (although that was pretty f—k’d up). The long time publicist of R. Kelly, Regina Daniels publicly announced her resignation as his publicist with a letter that stated:
Rumor has it that the line that R. Kelly crossed was sleeping with Regina Daniel’s step daughter, who at the time was 19. Regina Daniels and husband George refused to comment on the allegations.
Why can’t R.Kelly play with women his age? Those tenderonies are going to get him in trouble sooner or later..
50 Cent Fake Flossin’?
Last but not least, MTV’s Cribs featuring 50 Cent’s crib premiered yesterday and according to Real Talk NY, (although I’m sure he could afford them) the Ferrari’s he featured on the show were not his. RTNY has the full story.
